Quick Rules of Polish Poker
1. Deck
25 cards: 9–A in four suits + 1 Joker.
2. Goal
Eliminate all other players.
3. Hand Ranking
1. Five of a Kind (AAAA + Joker)
2. Royal Flush
3. Straight Flush
4. Four of a Kind
5. Flush
6. Full House
7. Three of a Kind
8. Straight (9–K or 10–A)
9. Two Pair
10. One Pair
11. High Card
4. Round Flow
Each player draws their own cards.
One community card is revealed.
Starting player declares a hand (truth or bluff).
Next player must RAISE (declare higher hand) or CALL.
Declarations must always go higher.
Five Aces (A-A-A-A-Joker)
→ Immediate reveal allowed.
5. CALL Resolution
All players reveal their cards.
If the declared hand exists → CALLER loses.
If it does not exist → Declarer loses.
Only personal cards + community card count.
6. Elimination
The losing player takes one additional card in the next round.
5 cards + loss = elimination.
Play continues in the fixed direction of play.
Remember: When a player is eliminated, 5 fewer cards are in play.
7. Player Count
2–4 players
→ Standard (max 5 cards)
5 players
→ Max 4 cards
6 players
→ Stage format
(Stage 1: max 3 cards
Stage 2: max 4 cards when 5 remain
Stage 3: standard format when 4 remain)
7+ players
→ Tournament format (multiple tables, Final Table of 4)
